German is my mother tongue. I was born and raised in Germany. This subject is like home to me. You will benefit from the knowledge gained through teaching at various universities, managing a foreign language department and working with the internationally recognized Goethe-Institut as teacher, examiner, trainer and education liaison. For over 25 years my focus has been on everything German: language, culture, literature, history, politics, economics, exam preparation ...If you are in Saint John, NB, Canada reach out for in-person German sessions.
A regular course is 12 weeks. Are you a group of 6 participants or more? Get in touch to find your preferred starting date. We work with a textbook and various other resources. All levels (A1 - C2).
Price: $600 CAN per person
Start your German language journey any time: A minimum of 10 teaching units (45 minutes each) required, typically delivered as 5 sessions of 90 minutes. However, it is also possible to meet for 10 online live sessions of 45 minutes. Ask me about the German exam preparation course.
Price: $750 CAD
In the reading course, beginners or learners with little knowledge of German learn to read or translate texts from various disciplines in the arts, social sciences or humanities. This course presents structures of the German language and vocabulary and teaches reading and translation strategies for understanding academic German texts with the help of a dictionary. The language of instruction is English.
A minimum of 5 participants are needed.
